The Long Island Rail Road’s Stony Brook Station is across the street from our campus and is served by the Port Jefferson Line. Trains travel daily and with great regularity to and from Penn Station in New York City, a distance of about 50 miles.
Year-round car ferries operate between Port Jefferson, which is four miles east of the School, and Bridgeport, Connecticut. There is also a ferry between Orient Point, on the east end of Long Island, and New London, Connecticut. Reservations are suggested for both.
Two major airports--JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport--are located within 40 miles of our campus, and the Long Island MacArthur Airport, just a 15 minute drive away, is another option for domestic travel to and from our campus via Southwest Airlines or US Airways.
